Outreach
OUTREACH
The Outreach Program at Mountainside is our way of moving out beyond our walls to show Christ’s love for our neighbors and to grow as a congregation of the world.
We are a member of the Cote des Neiges Council of Churches and help to run their Mini Prix store.
Financial and other support is provided to a variety of groups including: Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada, Montreal City Mission, St. Columba House, and Chez Doris.
The Outreach Committee responds to local community needs and international disaster relief requests as they occur with information and fund-raising efforts within the congregation.
Outreach Sunday is held once or twice a year with guest speakers highlighting a particular area of interest and concern.
